Putting in my theory on the Loporrit questline from the second milestone quest. I don't expect this to be right, but on the off chance I am I want to write it down.

The loporrit in the black robes who's really dour about everything is actually the first loporrit to ever wake up and pursue their own dream, even leaving the moon to do it, only to get jaded, beaten and give it up. But they were still a huge influence on the loporrits and their culture, even if they were absent for so long.

That's right: the black loporrit is Namingway!

Incidentally, another observation from the quest, because I think part of the script changes depending on your class and I'm curious if anyone can confirm:

The description Dreamingway gave for the thing I had to make as an Alchemist is "Machine oil that passing Loporrits will not mistake for a refreshing beverage.” That strikes me as perfectly suitable for an ALC product description... and not fitting at all for almost any other crafter. Did anyone get something different?

I haven't confirmed directly, but the Namazu quests definitely did this, inserting something approximately class-appropriate in most requests.

From memory it tends to be one thing for alchemist/culinarian, one for the three metalworkers, one for leatherworker/weaver and I can't remember whether carpenter gets its own or gets lumped in with one of the others. If you look up the scripts it should have all the versions.
