The class-specific stuff for ALC this time, by the way:

I was making gentle dish soaps! Very important!

Incidentally, something that isn't necessarily new, but I do like and is obvious now that we're meeting a lot of them: the loporrits have a clear diversity of male, female, and gender-neutral pronouns! Good show, I like that level of low-key representation.

    Rank 6 Loporrit story

And we finally are given the ashen-furred bun's name. Counselingway. I like that they bring up the Loporrits that would have been those who would have delt with Etheryis's inhabitants feeling lost more than the others. That mural is just so wonderful. I'm not sure how I feel about the crying Loporrit fountain thing. We almost got Counselingway to participate in something. I'm glad that it seems their asking for hibernation is only for them. I did think the ask when we first learned of it was for all of them. Sparklingway worries me. I know Thrillingway's daily worries some people, but Sparkling way is asking us to throw bombs at them.

    Loporrit rank-up thoughts!

ALC's crafter task is, of course, to make paints!

The mural's got some interesting details. The depiction of the moon is broadly correct in terms of structure, although has some weird elements (I don't know what the purple blob is, and... I think there's a robot loporrit there?), and I do find it neat that they gave the face sunglasses; I've seen that before, in Mario, so I wonder if that's a greater cultural thing or more classic reference I'm not aware of. Meanwhile, the actual planet is WAY off! They've depicted the Tower of Babil, but it's on an island instead of a larger landmass. I guess the loporrits doing art therapy probably weren't the ones studying geography. And then there's the flock of bluebirds, which... huh. There's a few places they could've gotten that imagery; I wonder which one's true. And there's this funny purple splotch left of the moon that seems to be around where the birds are coming from; I wonder if that means anything, or if it's just a for-fun splash of color.

Counselingway's plight is a really interesting one, although I'm now starting to notice the absence of the Garlean refugees. I'm not going to call the story bad for ignoring them, because I actually do think this is a worthwhile angle that doesn't really work with them being an active element, but... yeah, I kinda do want to bring them in sometime! Maybe have them be an additional requirement and element for the allied tribe quest? That's already a big ask, to the point where asking for the role quest capstone to also be done doesn't feel too extra. Surely the sort of person who's taken the time to do all three tribe quests to maximum is also the sort of person to do all the role quests, right?

Somehow it took me a while to realize they shrunk down the door to the "closet" we've been going in and out of. You can see where it should open up to. Now that the Loporrits know we're not 20ft tall creation magics robe lovers they made it smaller. There was some other observation I had while doing these quests that I'll just have to remember some other time.

I think the Omicron tribal quest was so interesting that I'm really not that hyped up about the Loporitts. I mean I'm down for seeing how the quests conclude in then end but honestly, really hard to keep myself interested when compared to Omicron's that had me on the edge of my seat!

Gaint Robot is probably supposed to be the Big Cheese. The Blob is one of the A ranks I think. It's supposed to be the Mousse Princess. It's a voidsent that took up residence in an amorphous lump of lunar soil.

Huh I didn't see a gaint robot? Is it next to a Loporrit that's next to the blob? If so then that's probably the other A rank that's a rainbow pearlescent lunatender. Called the Lunatender Queen.

Yeah, it could be an extra quest they add sometime that takes place after the Loporrits are max rank (and assuming you've completed the role quests).

The blob is one of the A-ranks, and the bluebirds are the Meteia coming from Ultima Thule.

re: the refugees, having two separate story instances for those who have completed the role quests and those who haven't I would imagine would have just been more work, or hard to do. Some people don't care to level all roles, and some may still be trying to catch up while doing, and I don't think NG+ covers tribal quests (I could be wrong, though) with specific flags. I was hoping they'd make an appearance, but alas. Hopefully if there's a capstone quest, that will be part of it.
