Tomestones.. Again.. for a relic..

People complained about ARR relic grind, HW light farms, Eureka, Bozja/Zadnor, and the alternative content being forced to do what was optimal to earn memories faster. I suppose the devs feel doing the entire hildibrand series through endwalker is grind enough. I only did a few relics in ShB because honestly I didn’t like the way most of them looked, wasn’t into the whole militia look or judge stuff. I did like the way it was implemented though (fates, DR, special actions/buffs). Bozja was also the deep dungeon alternative for leveling, this time we got the deep dungeon instead.

It could be the number of jobs and weapons and they feel people will get burned out grinding them. I personally don’t collect all the relics, I only do my favorite jobs, but some people do all of them. Whatever their reasons are, we get another round of tomes, and it will most likely be this way all of endwalker. People asked for “not being locked to one type of content and forced to do something they don’t like” and now they can be free and use tomes instead. I can see why this happened.
