first they complained they had to do content (eureka), then they complained again that they had to do the significantly easier and faster content (bozja) and now they complain that there is no "content" (farming fates forever or running xyz raid/dungeon ad nauseum)

The sad thing is that the content that replaces eureka/bozja was dead on arrival or just afk content like island sanctuary.

I would have gladly done another exploratory zone, because that means actually playing the game. I grinded away at eureka relics because i found the zones fun, hitting huge numbers and grinding away at stuff 'with other people'.

Hell, Bozja storyline even gave us a bonus EX trial, which gave dyable versions of SHB job armor.

I personally lucked out because I am in NO MOOD for a big grind, as I have other things to grind for, in-game and outside of it. But I suppose I do feel bad for those who were expecting the grind to keep them occupied for the rest of the patch until 6.4 drops. Though in regards to the discussion surrounding the games health, this was probably the worst way to handle the relic step because we'll have another 2 months of '' there is nothing to do in this game '' threads and videos and tweets lmao.

I have been playing this game since beta and I have always looked forward to the relic quests and the grind associated….this is awful and an absolute joke. How very disappointing this was, not to mention, with how easily obtained astronomy is, everyone will be running around with 630 weapons and Rubi EX just became utterly pointless..

Let’s not pretend that it takes development effort to ask us to do 15 variant dungeons, all EW normal mode trials and leveling dungeons, or farm the new deep dungeon 15 times for the relic. They just decided not to.

I mean you're right because we knew we weren't getting a new zone its all they could do really there is no way round it so rather than focusing in on particular paths they just said do anything current and you get there.

I guess everyone forgot that parts where Yoshi and part of the FFXIV development team is working on FFXVI. So Yoshi p ALREADY asked SE for more money and got turned down to make the game better in his views, then has to go with some of his team to work on 16 (which means prior to this he felt his team needed norand somehow people didn't expect with a smaller team than normal devs taking a easier / safer route ATM.

Maybe I'm just the hot opinion person here but I get that they're busy on 16 but at the same time, it's not an excuse to lower the quality of another game. If SE is denying them the ability to hire more people to make the game better, then the issue is with SE and that's where the fingers should be pointed. It's just not okay when people are paying for a live service game to basically tell us to screw ourselves and wait it out. If I wasn't tied down to a house I really don't want to lose, I would cancel my sub until 6.4.

This should never be an excuse, those of us who have paid for this game for 10 years loyally, don’t care about whether they are wrapped up in FFXVI….do your job on this game and stop catering to the 3 hour a week, new, players only…what a joke.
