Pickings Are Slim, But This Really Isn't Okay, Is It?

Something that really bothers me is the fact that so many people have said "bid it up so they (offending FC) cant get it." First issue I have is that we have no concrete evidence that they are actually bidding on it (although I suspect they are with the exact number of bids that were in within the first hour of the lottery cycle starting).

Second issue I have is that of the 67 bids (at last time I looked at it) are nothing but people/FC that put bids in with absolutely NO intentions of actually taking the plot should they win. I know my FC has put in a bid on it because we have been trying to upgrade from a Small house since the new wards were put in on patch 6.3 and have not been successful in every lottery cycle since the patch dropped. So things like this, both the offense of what we say, the lack of response from the GMs, and the further reaction and response from the community really brings our morale down.

I mean if it's to get that plot you might as well just keep your small, half the garden is taken by the plot below abusing out of boundary, if it's for the inside then sure I guess, but the plot is worthless with how ugly it is in my opinion, the sunset is completely blocked, the view is absolutely ruined, there's not even a place to chill at in the garden with your fellow fc mates as it's just full of these dude's furnitures

My first house in goblet, the neighbours were overhanging their wisteria trees into my garden (with the blossoms on teh floor essentially covering half the garden. Was it on purpose? 100% because it was all over the garden. Ignored my requests to remove it, didn't even respond to messages. Was gonna report to GM, but moved house instead a few days later.

Yeah, there's a huge difference between putting something (non obstructive) on a public path and doing it on someone else's garden. There are actually a couple of houses I've seen that get creative with it and set up things like fruit stands so that they're just on the other side of their fence, next to the gate.

Why are you so certain that the other bidders have no intention of finalizing their purchase if they win? There are others who also would love to upgrade.

Except if someone actually owns the affected plot, GMs are more likely to take action under ToS for nuisance behavior. With no one owning the plot right now, no one is being adversely affected by what the owners below have done (beyond the general eye sore to the ward).

I doubt it, ironically I once had a wisteria tree a bit too on the edge of the plot, not even out of boundary, and I had an in game warning from a GM and was told to move it, it took.. 1 day of me putting it down to get warned for it, so obviously if they wanted to do something they would have done it, and also, this was on a plot with no neighbors adjacent, its a plot on its own in goblet so it wasnt bothering anybody

You're in the Eu though. Maybe the NA GMs are too busy.

That’s just… wow! How did they even do that? And does it really prevent you from clicking through to the placard? Or are they just trying to make it undesirable so no one wants to bid? I think they used all 20 of their outdoor slots on that monstrosity, along with whatever hot tub/bridge merger they have on the front… is that blocking off the only path to the stairs? That’s insane…
