If you're not happy with the content go play something else or go touch grass.

Because goodness forbid we let our thoughts be known as to how said content might be improved upon so we have more reasons to log into the game we pay a monthly sub fee for.
If it was not obvious before, let it be perfectly clear that anyone who is still parroting the "go play something else" line isn't coming here to argue in good faith. At least put the bare minimum effort into defending the state of current content that is as short lived as it is worth coming back for more of. Unless you can't, of course.

let it also be perfectly clear that anyone who is still subbing to a game is SUPPORTING what the game is currently doing. YOU are supporting the game. Everything they're doing? You're supporting that every month you sub.Because goodness forbid we let our thoughts be known as to how said content might be improved upon so we have more reasons to log into the game we pay a monthly sub fee for.

I don't know how long you've been playing but this opinion has been floating around since at least the back half of Heavensward.Because goodness forbid we let our thoughts be known as to how said content might be improved upon so we have more reasons to log into the game we pay a monthly sub fee for.

Complain all you want "About the lack of content". I've been here since 3.5. It will never change.
So stay bitter.
It might help you productive in some way, but not in FF14.
This isn't the impressive defence you think it is. It is the responsibility of the consumer to steer businesses towards improving upon their product. But sure, let's extend patch cycles further so they can spend the extra time doing who knows what, because 6.3 proved it wasn't QA. Unfortunately it seems that some FFXIV players do not share this mentality and are instead content to take things as they are. As content becomes more sparse, battles become less fun, and patches release in progressively buggier states.I don't know how long you've been playing but this opinion has been floating around since at least the back half of Heavensward.

All while acting smug the whole time, somehow turning their acceptance of the worsening status quo as a matter of pride. It does not have to be this way. You do not lose out on anything if content gives more rewards and replayability value. You lose nothing from SE doing a better job after dropping the ball everywhere this expansion. The time for course correction is long overdue.
It definitely seems though that the lines have already been drawn and that people have taken to their sides. Those who are aware of this game's decline have no power to awaken the people who are pleased to stay on this ship as it continues to sink. I'm just glad I was able to enjoy it during its golden days back in Stormblood before a combination of laziness and resource drain to FFXVI took hold.
Given that game is practically finished already and that COVID is no longer a valid excuse, the state of Endwalker's content is quite frankly unacceptable. SE needs to do better on delivering value for money. Never in the past decade that I've played this game have things felt this bad. Goodness knows that prior to this expansion I would have been the first to rush to SE's defense but now? They'll be lucky if I even stay subbed past or even bother resubbing for 6.4 when Pandaemonium ends the only storyline I have any investment left in.
