Was any of the 6.3 content worth waiting 4 months for?

I've been thinking a lot about the patch cycle length lately, and I've started to ask myself if any of the content we got in 6.3 was really worth waiting four months for. As the patch cycles get longer, content needs to become more valuable to match or it's not worth waiting the extra time for. What have we really gotten this patch in terms of content?

    - A very short MSQ that doesn't do much to build upon the story and rushes one of the newer character through what seems more similar to flipping a light switch than an actual character arc.
    - An expert dungeon which is actually pretty good, far better than Troia.
    - A normal trial you'll do once and then wait until you get it in trial roulette to do again.
    - An extreme trial that drops weapons that are practically catch-up gear and are thus useless to anyone who has done savage.
    - An alliance raid with pretty uninspired mechanics compared to it's predecessor making it rather boring. A good chunk of the last two fights is half-room cleave spam. It also acts mostly as a weekly chore once you've done it once.
    - Custom Deliveries that are quite literally a weekly chore that last a grand total of a couple minutes.
    - A handful of sidequests that are one and done.
    - A very small expansion to Island Sanctuary, a piece of content that amounts to clicking on nodes.
    - An ultimate that is by nature niche content and won't cater to most people, and was also ridden with bugs on release and still has issues like the buff cap in p3. (And I say this as someone the content actually is catering to)
    - A new treasure map system that is a copy and paste from the SHB one.
    - A new map for PvP that isn't enough to shake up the gameplay.

This mostly amounts to either content that you do once and are just done with or content that amounts to a weekly chore. This supposed to be a major patch, where is the lasting content to hold us over until 6.4? Am I just supposed to farm treasure maps or play pvp for the next three months? Even my friends who are normally more forgiving of the game's flaws have been expressing similar complaints. They're already in the mindset of "are we there yet" for 6.4. 6.3 was only a month ago, why is it feeling like there hasn't been a major patch in almost half a year?

It's becoming more and more apparent that either the patches need to be bigger and last longer, or the patch cycle needs to be shorter. No more of this "just wait until next patch" stuff, it's been too long since the last patch that gave us real and lasting content. Both 6.25 and 6.3 were a joke for content. Even if the deep dungeon or relic grind in 6.35 is the lasting content the game has been needing, which I doubt it'll be, is it going to be worth waiting 6 months since 6.2 for?

And no, taking a break isn't a proper answer to the problem. I shouldn't have to take a 3-4 month break between patches because the game doesn't have any content to offer me, especially in an MMO.
