What exactly is the point of Expert Roulette?

Once you unlock expert roulette, there is zero reason to do 90 roulette. It gives less weekly tomestone, and you could earn more from just running a specific expert dungeon instead of touching 90 roulette. This was also true in Shadowbringers, and I hated that. There was plenty of 80 dungeons that I enjoyed doing, but when the reward for doing a roulette is near worthless, why bother doing it.

Personally, a roulette with a large number of dungeons I enjoy is exactly what will make me want to participate even if the rewards aren't the best.

On the other hand, disliked dungeons guarantee that I will stay away from those roulettes, and the Dead Ends and Smileton together were enough to put me off Expert roulette when they were there, and now keep me firmly out of the 90 roulette.
