What exactly is the point of Expert Roulette?

As someone who hates fell court, I’m so sick of 90s roulette being segregated. But combining them won’t make me happy. Out of the 90s six dungeons half of them are ok while the other half are garbage that would make Sastsha blush so you get the same odds for a decent run 50/50

The only thing I want from roulette is to synch the item level so the warrior doesn’t solo the whole instance, so the 24 man raids don’t rot from power creep Ivalice has a patch or two left until it becomes like void ark

"What is the point of Expert roulette?" - I ask this question every time a new dungeon drops per major patch. Sure you can farm it for tomes but you can almost get those anywhere doing any other content. Every time it's been after a new dungeon drops: you only see that specific dungeon and the older ones get thrown into the inevitable "never-to-be-seen-again and no-reason-to-return-to" pile like the rest once you're done with a certain point in MSQ or the patches move on.
