Balmung and Mateus (18 bids on lowest) have literally hundreds of players who have never owned a house who cannot get one. And anyone saying move to Dynamis should try themselves. The queues are awful, the economy is terrible outside of Seraph, and everyone just ends up DC traveling back to Aether or Crystal anyway. I see more Dynamis people on Balmung sometimes than actual native residents.

I've been playing more on Dynamis than I have on Crystal lately.

Queues are not terrible for the majority of roulettes. Level 90 content can be iffy outside of prime time but that's slowly improving as those who transferred low level characters or created new ones are now completing the 6.0 MSQ.

The economy is just fine. I passed half the gil I had on this character to the characters I was transferring and made enough on Dynamis to repay it already plus more.

Not everyone is data center traveling to Aether and Primal for content, and I'm frequently seeing Travelers in the open world and in roulettes on Dynamis.

To say you're seeing more Dynamis characters on Balmung than Balmung characters is totally laughable.

On the other hand, that you are seeing players from Dynamis on Balmung shows that moving to Dynamis to get a house then using data center travel to play with friends works.

It's your choice in the end. Continue to go without a house and annoy your friends with your constant complaints, or get your house while continuing to enjoy the rest of the game with your friends.

If you think queues on Dynamis (?) are awful, you're in for a fantastic time on Crystal come 7.0 - and by fantastic time, I mean "multi-hour queues for weeks on end" are going to be making a return.

It's not going to be desolate forever.. but by the time you realize that's changing, the houses won't be nearly so available.

You might want to point out to Sourcy that you're referring to a different type of queue than they are talking about.

I remember chatting with Balmung friends in Discord at Endwalker release. My log in queues on Coeurl were rarely more than 10-15 minutes while they'd be stuck in 4-6 hours queues. Unless more players are willing to transfer off Balmung (and Crystal in general) to Dynamis, it's going to be just as bad if not worse for 7.0.

Personally, I'm in a good spot. As much as I'd rather do MSQ on this character first when 7.0 releases, if log in queues are bad I have no problems playing through on one of my Marilith characters first. And I'd be able to invite my Coeurl FC to travel to play with me on Marilith as well so they can avoid their queues. We chat in Discord as much as we chat in game so the lack of FC chat wouldn't be a problem.
