I just find it interesting and oddly weird --

We just had our FC ward converted over into a private house ward. And someone went and made 7 different service accounts... just to buy 7 personal homes in the ring around the water in the Goblet. I'm not sure what the profit is here?
They can't sell it like an FC. They don't get the Company Workshop perks.

Is it just for decorating? Hoarding? Having nothing better to do than pay 7 different subs?

Rich people exist, and for rich people the cost of 7 subs is insignificant, compared to the bragging rights.

It's a similar situation to whales on mobile titles, who drop thousands just to be top of some leaderboard.

How do you know it's one person with 7 accounts? Did you talk to them? Did they admit it? Is it possibly a group of friends instead?
