Ungendered sit poses, please?

Idk maybe I am missing the point, but I am still lost what exactly is the problem with having sitting positions being available to everyone? I am a guy and I often cross my legs, I just find it more comfortable. I would not say we "need" to but I can see why some may find it more comfortable. Maybe a female may find it more comfortable. Just seems like an odd stance. Hard to explain why

It really depends on how you cross your legs. If you do knee over knee that is uncomfortable, at least to me. If it's ankle over knee then there's still the space for the danglies to not get crushed.

That is fair, though what I am trying to get at, what exactly is the problem with just letting females sit that way and allow men to sit that way ingame? If even the comfort level varies from person to person irl. Should comfort be unique?

I mean, if comfort varies from person to person then that level of comfort is unique to that person, no?

As for my take on the whole thing: I feel like it's unecessary to have every thing needing to be distributed to every race/gender/role/what have you, but if they did it wholey wouldn't bother me.

I agree that is also my point, the stance itself is not inherently unique, the comfort level or feeling it provides is what is an unique experience to each person. So making it accessible to everyone does not detract from the unique nature of the position that is inherent to you. Which is why this entire conversation was confusing for me, since it seems that is an agreed upon stance.

It's more to do with why some feel they "need" to have that pose for female characters. That it's somehow "unfair" that males get it and females don't. While it is arbitrary it's still a decision the developers made for their own reasons. Arguing that it's "wrong" or needs "fixing" is wholey an emotional stance.

Aren't most requests made of the devs rooted in some desire of need or want? Not saying one has to be in favor of it, but making request out of a desire or need is pretty much how many requests come to light. I have not followed 100% but I did not see much of being it is unfair more so that they would like it to be added or changed.

Oh yeah I agree it was done for a reason, and only they know the reason. That said, I do not think it started off as it is wrong or needs fixing, but may have turned into that as it has gone on. Idk this seems like any other request made on the forums, yet like the whole hide glamour thing it seems like it has become a personal crusade for some to rally against it.

Hopefully it is and remains in the realm of a want since nothing is needed as it's a video game, though I do agree that it does tend to get out of hand how far people take it to oppose something.

Edit: I don't mean that as I hope it never gets fulfilled or anything, just that people don't actually feel like they absolutely NEED this to be a thing.
