Slightly tangent since weapons have way more technical factors than armor and it's not the point of this thread, but I'd love to know what is YP's stance on this nowadays, because: -snip-

To be fair, this makes the whole thing even more bizzare because what we got was literally the thing that Yoshi-P (once?) thought was strange and unimmersive. I'd say it probably means he either changed his stance or simply doesn't care that much.

I'm also fairly certain everybody agrees that weapons hold much more relevancy in regards to a job's identity than armor does... but the fact that his example turned into reality is just hilarious.
