We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

I suppose they took my joke seriously, but either it being whatever weapon, that's not important. That person missed the point of the earlier post, which is to contest the coherence of YP's statement about weapon X's appearance not ever being able to be used by job Y because it would look ridiculous or misplaced.

Yet we have now an example of how that statement doesn't hold. It doesn't matter if it is a hammer, an axe, a spear or the kitchen's sink.

Glad to see this thread is still going. The new hammer is a direct contradiction to what Yoshi P stated about weapon glamours back in the day. If this is now okay then no glamour restrictions should be more than okay. They are officially all out of excuses.

The Scouting set is quite literally a reskin of the Diabolic Fending set. Apparently Ninjas get to wear tank gear these days:

As I've said before, whenever they re-use older gear, there seems to be no pattern or logic behind the role swaps. The "muh immersion" argument goes out the window yet again.

They're no doubt aware and decided to stop adding extra items like that to the log.

Yeah they do this a lot… usually one set is dyeable and the original isn’t… think Voeburite/Heirloom. Although Shadowless/Ktisis are the same and neither is dyeable, the latter just looks more blue than black.

There’s one of the BRD class tops I’d really like to wear on my DNC, can’t think of the name right now, but the other version available for all Aiming classes has pink that can’t be dyed away.

Just think of the glam dresser space/server resources we’d be saving if we didn’t have to have multiples of the same piece just for different classes! lol But part of me thinks it stays that way so you’ll still have to go back and grind older dungeons for the glam.

I still remember when they cut the dungeons down to 1 per patch. You know, for "quality". lmao
