I stand by my statement regardless.
Call it a Preemptive strike on anybody who might say "its an easy feature to add" or actually believe "it wouldn't take any time away from anything"
Because.....coding takes time. Modding a game that only effects YOUR screen is different then altering game code that effects everything globally live on the server across Data Centers.
No Counter-argument XD
You just said "Just wear something else" which is basically telling someone what to do / a demand.
So....yeah.
And before you think to say "you weren't making a demand"
Then ill ask...did you really mean it? 'just wear something else' Or was it just some 'gotcha' to look clever?
Say if it could be added no questions asked, would you still feel as strongly as you do to not have it added, or would you be willing to live with it as an option?I stand by my statement regardless.

Both.
Id still think its unnecessary and silly. BUT if it was implemented, ah well, its there.
Not like I have any real power here, I just play the game like all of you, its up to YoshiP, the Devs & SE is it actually happens or not.
My Opinion on the matter is just that.
What those in favor of the feature are trying to say is that while you have your opinion, the facts remain that said feature would only detract from ones personal experience if they choose to let it. Being as it would be a 100% optional feature it does not inherently take anything way from others in a world where it could be added without any negative. Granted that world is not real but I hope you get where I am coming from.Both.

After all these pages, I still don't understand.
I'm told to 'look away', if I don't like someone's glamour. If I do that, I am controlling my visual experience of them on my screen. I am altering their expression on my screen because they are no longer visible. They are likely not aware of it. This is apparently fine.
If a measure is proposed to block certain glamours that someone is wearing on my screen(for example a giant frog or pig), I am altering their expression on my screen because the frog/pig suit is no longer visible. Since it is my screen only, they are likely not aware of it. Yet apparently, this is not fine. This is a problem.
Can anyone explain this to me?

And I have conceded that its not up to me if it happens or not. If its implemented, thats up to the Devs, Director and Company, regardless of anybodies thoughts or opinions. What those in favor of the feature are trying to say is that while you have your opinion, the facts remain that said feature would only detract from ones personal experience if they choose to let it. The negative remains, its still time away from other features they could be working on, but again thats just opinion and not up to any of us in the end.
I need an explanation why you cant just go about your day and not be bothered by other peoples glamours / Fashion.
Why do we need a feature to hide others glamours, when you can just look away and ignore it?
This...doesn't really answer their Question.
They aren't even seeking Validation...they asked; basically...if your Claim is true that "The point of the glamour system is to make an aesthetic pleasing to you for you. Not of you for everyone else." then the question is... "...if that is true, Then why do you see other people's glamours when they apply them?"
Calling it narcissism...isn't an answer...
