It would have the makings of a 3 piece set... The coat and dress combo as a chestpiece, the leggings and the boots. And in that form, would be actually more worth the price they're asking. Even if the leggings were broken and refused to adapt to skintone, unironically 2B Leggings would be a good replacement.

Now maybe you guys understand the annoyance that people who don't even like cash shops feel. They won't change. They will push to maximize profits versus time spent and no doubt have years of analytics to show what works and what doesn't. You may be upset that it's in one piece, but I'm sure the people who drop cash in the mogstation on outfits buy it en masse anyway. Maybe they'd put more effort into releasing separate pieces that are dyable if it sold poorly. But alas, it doesn't. Sells like hotcakes. Personally I'm not a fan of a cash shop carrying exclusive items in a subscription based MMO anyway. After years of being told 'vote with your wallet' and seeing that idiots have more voting power than I ever could, I hope the cash shop gets worse and worse because you people deserve what you pay for.

Honestly, I don't have an issue with the cash shop existing, and I never really have. However, I do think that if something is being sold for real money, then there needs to be a certain level of quality present, and lately it is not when it comes to a lot of additions. Like I said, and even you said, they know they can get away with it, so they will just keep doing it.

Simple answer: she, Gaia, is not classified as a human character/typical NPC. (most unique NPCs are like this)
Her "outfit" is the entirety of her body, there were never pieces to begin with.

When you buy and use this outfit, it replaces your body with her own.

Imagine if SE didn't just copy and paste, and actually decoupled the pieces and adjusted where needed before selling a set on the cash shop.

You’re basically using Gaia’s rescaled body model when wearing the “outfit.”

You can spot this awkward proportions especially when seeing any larger female characters using this like femroes. Additionally if you happen to play a character with different skin tone (let’s say, darker), the fishnet stocking will still show you have Gaia’s skin tone too.
