I lol'd. It's nowhere near Kugane Tower level jumping, where jumps are insanely difficult even to seasoned JP (Jumping Puzzle) players. On a scale of 1-5, with Kugane being the 5, this is more of a 3.

Honestly, even Kugane Tower isn't that bad once you've done it some borderline-obscene number of times. The main thing that I've seen trip people up is that Kugane Tower has the overhanging stuff -- roof ledges, etc. -- which you can bonk your head on (which will abort a jump and send you straight down), and those have wonky hitboxes. Once you've done Kugane Tower enough times, though, you know where all those are and the jumps are actually fairly trivial. It's just not intuitive to figure out where the wonky spots are.
But once you know them... I mean, I think at this point my speed record from base of tower to lamppost is like... 48 seconds? 50? Something under a minute, anyway. (In daylight, to be fair; I'm a *lot* more likely to miss jumps when speed-running if it's night and the light is terrible.)
I can see the new Leap of Faith map being annoying for folks -- especially the spiral tree portion, which is a potentially interesting mix of jump distances depending on where you stand for a given step -- but it doesn't have a lot of overhangs to bonk your head on, which is definitely going to make it a lot less obnoxious for folks to learn the course than Kugane Tower is.
I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.Originally Posted by Packetdancer

and yet. as someone who has completed kugane tower, and can easily re-complete kugane tower. the blurry platforms, and the fact you can easily be going the wrong way and not know until you've come back to the central area, its totally harder than kugane tower, because of that damn 10 minute limit.
