yano there is a feature that lets you split your buffs and debuffs right?

Go into HUD Layout scroll down to status Info, hit the cog wheel, and you will be able to split your buffs into 4 types: Enhancements, Enfeeblements, Other and Conditional Enhancements (stacks of Sword Oath, Requiescat, Divine Might for example).

Make sure you select the option to make each one of them visible if you do split the status info.

But I'll be honest, not everything needs 101 UI changes when buffs and debuffs are more than sufficient, in most cases.

Color me surprised, you can actually split these from normal buffs, thought you can just split buffs/debuffs/other. Not the best solution since it's for all jobs, so I can't just put it where I always put job gauge otherwise it will overlap, but better than nothing I guess.

I don't see why we should settle with sufficient. Especially since it's not like these changes are something new or something hard to implement. Many jobs already have exactly what I'm talking about, I don't see why other jobs should be left out.

Well it breaks down as simple as this:
can I play the job just fine as it is without any UI modifications? yup, 100% I can.

Will any UI modifications you want change how I play the job? Nope not even remotely in the slightest.

So ergo, it adds nothing of value, just play the job, you actually develop a skill to play these jobs instead of babying everyone, none of these things are particularly hard to track, and if you do make a mistake, and you recognised how and why you made the mistake in your rotation, congratulations, you just learnt something, now work on not repeating your mistake, that's how players actually get better at the game.

Also your actions related to your stack in Paladin's case light up when you have stacks so if you're not even capable of using that as any sort of method to understand where you are in your rotation, maybe you might actually need all the help you possibly can get.

If you want to look at simple QoL like that then I don't really know what to tell you. This is obviously hyperbole, but do you think it's better to drive a car without mirrors, since you can just turn around to see?

It's not a problem to find a buff that you want, in the end you have whole GCD for it, but why would you need to do that in first place? Why can't I just quickly glance at job gauge and then back to the actual game? But my main point was that some jobs do have exactly that, while others simply don't.

sorry using a car with no mirrors is a terrible anology, a better analogy is using a car that has a camera on the back of the car with a screen on the center console so you can look at that instead of turning your head when reversing. I.E unnecessary, but might be considered a QoL to certain people that need a little extra help.

So I assume that you don't have parking camera, because if you did, you would 100% be for all these QoL changes. I'm not even kidding, parking camera is such a life changer, no shame using it.
