    I wish some empathetic developer who was a true fan of FFXI would bring it back to us in some form.


    This is relevant. Not exactly the point, but relevant.

    The OP has some nostalgia glasses and wishes to play XI. OK, that's cool. Go play XI, then.

    Don't come in here saying XIV sucks and you desperately want it to be XI when XI is still totally there for you to play.

    I'd rather have XIV be it's own unique entity, thanks very much.
