Not going to lie I think in true Golbez fashion, that basically Golbez being FF4 Golbez and he is being manipulated by the big bad of 7.0.

I still think Zero might be evil and manipulating us as well and is 7.0's Big bad hiding in plain sight.

And now I realize the problem. Golbez is The Jailer.

"I am going to remake reality! Of the 13th!"

What does that mean?

Personally, I feel the 6.3 MSQ patch is alright. Not amazing, has its jarring moments, but the character development on Zero is nice. It's just... not done in the best way it can be done. A bit too forced, in my opinion. I still prefer the instance RP though, gives a different way to "Show rather than tell". I feel like they failed to do that on other parts of the MSQ in 6.3. Motivation wise, because we barely interact with our enemies, the trial boss for this patch is not relatable as they could have been if you only play FF14. The plotline also felt a bit forced in a different direction from what I've been expecting, somewhat due to a lack of buildup. The way they forced the echo when the boss said "I'll show you" came somewhat surprising to me. Boss mechanic for the trial is as expected. Not particularly surprising or new, but makes sense and works for the boss. Animation looks great though. Music is good.

On the other hand, Alliance Raid for this patch is great. The portrayal of the gods is on point. Really liked the boss mechanics and music. Door boss is good. Second boss with time mechanic is very cool. The storyline makes me wonder if Royal Road will make an appearance again and with the time acceleration effect, I'm curious if Time Dilation will return for AST since it seems doable now. I like how Halone just stabs everyone in my alliance raid too, really gives that feeling of being a Patron Deity for war. Feels nice. Quite lethal, staggering mechanics but not unrecoverable. Multiple raidwides are also nice to see. The Final boss has some amazing music. I love the way the story portrayed the characters.

The lesser moon - Dalamund, is so cute! I sorta want him as a pet... QwQ

As for the hypostatic sets, it looks pretty. The best thing is that the outfits can be dyed! I am a bit on the fence about the healing chestpiece (Hypostatic cloak), mainly because while I like the upper half due to the sleeveless look, the lower portion hides a bit too much of the legs and is too low for my liking. I prefer more of the lower half look like the Bozja chestpiece coat than the dress, something more akin to a dressrobe. Slightly shorter and a bit more open. That being said, I think it looks great for anyone who wants a beautiful dress glamour look, especially because it's dyeable!

So far, my impression was super fun to heal at the current ILVL, but that's also because I went into this with completely blind groups. I hope this alliance raid won't get nerfed too much once we start getting our ILVLs up again. It would be a shame if we beat the bosses up so fast that we can't even see their skills, or because raidwides start tickling because everyone remembered how to do mechanics, and then healers become 1 button DPS again.

Just do yourself a favor and skip the post-EW cutscenes. It’s going to be over soon anyway and none of it will matter. And you’re not missing out on anything by not watching Zero eat food. The whole budget went to the Alliance Raid and QoL changes which actually turned out decent. Something had to be sent to the chopping block and I’d rather it be this patch’s monster-of-the-week gimmick.

Damn now not even just the ff14 community is sick of yshtola, society at large is aswell. Shocking. We truly live in a society.

To be fair, I'm also sick of Y'shtola and was really disappointed to see the twins return (I am in the "make the Scions take a backseat for new characters" camp, and thankfully the twins wrote themselves out of continuing with the story). I'm just... not gonna make grand claims like I speak for others. @_@

Resetera is worse then reddit about the hive mind. Its bad enough that you risk getting banned if you go too much against it.
