    It matters to a extent, I also think theirs many ways to "remove" hot bar space without actually removing abilities, other then shield bash. I personally really wouldn't want them to remove POA and DV, but make them just more usable (right now they're a bit jank), I don't really think PLD needs any strong DPS boost above DRK/GNB, theirs always going to be two tanks that are meta due to damage and two tanks that aren't meta, I just don't think they necessary should take away any raid wide from PLD even if it "doesn't matter".

    It makes the most sense if PLD in terms of numbers would still be behind DRK/GNB, because people will complain about DRK or GNB now needing a "buff", If PLD remains behind both I also see no issue in keeping a extra utility on it, I don't play Paladin to do slightly higher numbers then other tanks, I like it (partly) because it has stronger support, even if that support doesn't matter on clearing a fight.

    I think knowing some of the changes has confused me on what PLD's going to become, I personally don't mind PLD being like a small percent behind I don't even pick jobs for meta or DPS, I like PLD because it's fun, supportive and has great class identity.

    Not really a fan of RNG abilities like camo, I rather something consistent even if it's for the most part weaker, but that's just my opinion.

    And listening to players is what's ruining XIV's expansion. Given how apparently terrified they are of players whining at them on forums and twitter, maybe the best thing for them to do is just turn all that shit off and get to work. Because the current combat system is garbage, and it was already heading that way going into Shadowbringers - walking it back will delay the problems, but it won't fix them. The combat system is going to need a *major* rework sooner or later. But if they're scared of people being upset with them on the internet, they're just going to keep kicking the can down the road instead of doing what's necessary.

    I can definitely say from a glance it does have the potential to take 3rd place by a larger margin leaving WAR to possibly need a hotfix potency bump prior to 6.31. Of course this is all conjecture but people really don't understand how much 100% crit DH can ruin a jobs dmg ceiling potential. 900 potency before crit/DH is even calculated is no joke.

    I think it's likely that they're aiming for PLD to be slightly behind GNB/DRK due to its other benefits, like being able to give two raid wides and having utility, likely more sustain and access to holy shelltrons and interventions, both GNB and DRK are also apparently "hard" because they're more busy as well (Just going off what they think I really dont consider drk or gnb too much harder).

    can't really use "pld lacks a personal" anymore, I even think PLD's got the second best personal (dark mind is usually the best even if it's really annoying).

    He was already useless in level 70 Ultimates but it now looks even worse.

    nah i hard agree, the only thing PLD's good at in early content is having their short cd in ARR, PLD's losing damage lol. It's not going to be really great to play in early content, which will likely make people think PLD's a boring easy 1, 2, 3 Job.

    I guess in stormblood it might actually hit pretty hard though so it might be ok in 70 ultimates, keep in mind you get magic buffed by FOF so you're gonna do lots in your burst.
