Don't try to do it all at once or Eureka's going to suck overall, period. Take it steps at a time. Do the eureka challenge log for chunks of elemental exp, and do NM fates if/when they happen within your elemental level.
Also starve the troll, don't respond.

Come on SE, more dyeable mogstore npc outfits and 60/70 alliance raid gear. Do them all.
Just twirl around, clap your hands and shout "EUREKA!"
You get a ton of experience from challenge log. Go to Challenge Log/Other and then Forbidden Land. Xp is silly good.
I feel like this is the problem with the playerbase. Clearly some of the content is meant to be taken in strides, not zerged. Then they pikachu face and rage that content shouldn't be zerged? :T Remember the Island Sanctuary?
Like, yeah, Eureka, Bozja and IS need attention as do many other forms of content. But streamlining them isn't necessarily the way.
imo the problem with Eureka itself specifically is how harsh it is for a solo experience. Probably a byproduct of SE trying to replicate FF11's levelling style. But even then, it's doable. And the log does help.
Bozja even more so, since you're literally just waiting for fates to automatically pop up. And if you don't want to blindly AFK, you can make them pop yourself.
god I just wish I could solo Baldesion Arsenal, even if it was made a pain-in-the-ass to do so. I'm never awake when the Discord's running a party, and BA is the last and only thing I need. Just enough to get one relic (PLD) done, and the orb.
I'm not trying to zerg it, I just want it to be less brain dead with a little more variety. I would stay there as long as needed if that were the case.I feel like this is the problem with the playerbase. Clearly some of the content is meant to be taken in strides, not zerged. Gamers don't die, we just go AFK

They could remove or at least limit the amount of XP or levels lost on death. I get it's supposed to be a throw back to old mmos but with it underpopulated and you having to solo most of it, making any single mistake is extremely punishing in terms of moving you back in progress.
Not saying you in particular were, but I can understand how you'd feel this way since I didn't specify.
Ultimately, I agree, and I wish those areas were a bit more fleshed out than just glorified FATE areas. We have other systems here, for example. Treasure maps could have been an interesting addition, or taking a cue from FF12's sidequests which had you have to figure some stuff out to progress.
But unfortunately, FF11 clones was what we got, and while Bozja is for sure an improvement on it, it feels more like an area to show people that "see? We learned. Eureka CAN work". Which, great job, but you still didn't make it any more engaging than just a glorified FATE hunt.
I was mostly responding to that one user's post, not you directly. The issue with what I wrote in that context comes in the need for rewards, and usually people want rewards that are either meaningful or give them progression. And unfortunately as we are now, we can't have much that adds to progression, or you risk invalidating so much of the areas as they are. And "meaningful" rewards are a bit hard to accomodate, as often once you get them they become less meaningful and the area returns to being unengaging.
However, there are other factors that they could do. For example.
This is a good idea. They could remove or at least limit the amount of XP or levels lost on death.
