Is There a Way to Make Eureka Not Suck?

I am 8 cards away from getting the Triple Triad mount and they're all gated behind Eureka. I tried, I really did, but it's just so soul sucking to run. I only made it to level 16 before calling it quits. I ran all of Bozja no problem, even had some fun doing it, but Eureka is just utterly devoid of anything remotely enjoyable.

i liked both Eureka and Bozja personally. Now with the nerf it's pretty easy to complete.

I don't have a problem with difficulty, just the grind. It needs more things to do for XP outside of mindlessly kill X number of mobs to spawn an encounter, complete encounter and return to mob killing

You can level almost just with challenge log have you done that? Obviously you need the crystals though for the weapons. I don't know what you have to do for triple triad cards so can't really comment on those.

I can get the cards through running encounters in each zone or I can duel an NPC in Kugane for them after I complete each zone.

I don't think I've seen the challenge log. I don't really care about the weapons, just getting through the zones.

You get a ton of experience from challenge log. Go to Challenge Log/Other and then Forbidden Land. Xp is silly good.

The Challenge log is an EASY way to get a massive dump of exp really quickly

If you wanna get through Eureka as fast as possible while doing the least possible:

1) Do your Challenge log
2) Exit Eureka
3) Wait for next week
4) Repeat

Some things that could make your experience more enjoyable in Eureka:

- Make a macro with /magiaattack on it. It will spin your wheel to have the correct element to attack whatever you have targeted. Usefull for when you do the Kill x60 of X element enemy weeklies.

- Get a Vermilion Cloak of Casting, or a Kirin's Osode of Fending. If your intent is to go as fast as possible, RDM and SMN are really good inside Eureka, and the Vermillion Cloak of Casting gives a pretty good chunk of stats that only work inside Eureka. The Fending one is recommended if you intend to solo later areas.

- The quests sometimes tell you to "ask players how to progress". In other words, google "ffxiv magicite locations", because those will increase your damage by a big chunk as you acquire them. The quest doesn't tell you directly to go grab it, just the general area where it is. So you can just skip the search by googling where they are, and grabbing them.

- Eureka has some special aggro types. Blood and Magic are the well-known ones. Blood = If you are low in health (Usually by undead enemies). Magic = If you use spells (Usually sprites). You have other things such as Sound and Sight which are more common to figure out (RP walking to avoid waking up the dragons in Pagos for example)

- Listen to a podcast or watch a movie while killing stuff. Killing things inside Eureka is not extremely difficult to require your full attention, so having something on the side to keep you entertained can help the grind a lot.

I do feel a bit sad that you feel the way you do about Eureka, so the least I can do is give you some information that might be of help to make it as fast as possible ;-;
