    Oh yeah, I'm so excited to have another patch where 90% of the newly developed gear is labeled as incompatible with my character due to "restrictions". We're just drowning in glam options here.

    That would be very disappointing.
    They've done some role switching as well, healers in the caster gear, dancer in the monk/ninja and I think that's a SAM in the tank gear

    Whether they're dyeable or not it's up in the air. Although it IS role swapped, so there's the silver lining... maybe.
