None of these encounters are particularly challenging. If you're going for the optional, achievement runs (which have a variety of requirements), you're approaching the lower end of Ex difficulty, but for just clearing them for the sake of story/progress? It's not hard.

You might be missing some spells that would make things easier. Blue Mage expects you to go out and get spells. Use Party Finder to arrange for dungeon, raid, and trial groups. Blue Mage groups are fun and an interesting way to revisit tired old content. I'd advise hopping to the Crystal datacenter, as that's where Blue Academy is based and so most dedicated BLU players will default to starting there.
I have said repeatedly, I don't expect it to be face roll, just slightly more forgiving. Cause it always at the end of the fight that I tend to reach my problems, and it can get very frustrating having to start all over from the beginning.
