Even if you have your perfect look, sometimes you want to play around with another. The cost does suck though, especially when you do it on impulse late at night.![]()

First you lose a bet with your chat. Then you strip your character down to their unmentionables, pop the top off the bottle, chugg it, log out of the game, and groan as you got and change your character to your least favorite race and then hop back into game. Only to do everything but the bet part in a week cause you're weak lil moma's boy of a streamer who can't go the full month you said you would if ya lost the bet.
Wait you were asking how I do it hmmm. Last time I drank the liquid tide was when I got a hankering to be able to wear the cute winter hats. Ignoring the fact I loathe how most of the hats look in game on my character. I was proud that I lasted a whole month before reverting back to my bun who tends to wear glasses or flowers on the regular.

Oh man I hate it when you have something slightly off and it's not something that you can fix with a certain scissor wielding npc. Like skin tone cause the blasted lighting in this game's character creator is the worst when it comes to figuring how dark or light your character will look once in game in various types of light let alone direct sunlight.

It's not as bad as those who have fantad twice in an hour and not to just adjust something.Honestly it's always weirded me out that people just pay for a fantasia every couple of weeks or whatever. Whatever floats your boat but... eh, not my thing.
I've fanta'd three times. From miqo to au ra when they were released, and then to hrothgar, and then to change my hroth's hair color because that was FOR SOME REASON A THING. I had no connection to my miqo or au ra, like, at all, but hrothgar was what saved it for me.

The only time I've used a fanta was to change to an Au Ra when they released. I think maybe one more after that to tweak skin tone or something, I don't remember for sure. But yeah people who buy like packs of 20 or change every week weird me out.

I think he still plays but someone from Levi would fanta literally every half an hour or so.

Mao has always been Mao in this game. Mao has no desire to be Not-Mao.

My lore revolves around my character switching appearances. I'm tied to my character and her story, not her appearance.Consumed a Fantasia a few weeks ago to become a Miqo'te, mostly because I was getting turned down for RP because I was a Lalafell.
3 hours later, had to go back to my Lalafell. I had absolutely no connection to the new character. None. I looked at her in cutscenes, and I just got sad because she wasn't mine. She was an imposter.
I made one of my retainers look exactly the same as my old Lalafell, but that just made me even sadder.
So, yeah. Two fantasias in the span of three hours.
Yet, I see people dropping Fantasias like they're sick beats.
People I know are changing their race/look every week.
Do you guys not have personal connections do your characters?
She switches things up once she starts getting recognized on the streets again as the WoL. She doesn't like the attention, so she's either going to hole up or switch her appearance until things get extreme again. And it's not like it's even expensive for her - being a homeowner + crafter, she doesn't ever need money and she doesn't spend it on much, so.

I've loved all iterations of my WoL, that's why I Fantasia to those in the first place... I change her/his appearance based on what I connect to at the moment. Whether it be a strong-headed Miqo'te girl, or a lean and charming Viera, or an angry Miqo'te male. My friend liked me being Au Ra so I have to change back to appease him sometimes.
Also obligatory "how dare people enjoy what you don't".
