I agree!
However, we see multiple clubs across DCs advertising their DJ nights on twitch etc. Isn't that basically RMT when you gift them money?
How about this:
- Remove the subscription requirement on housing.
- Add a rental fee.
- Impliment a 'Gil box' feature where people can donate to these clubs and individual housing
That way, people who want housing can't buy entire wards without been severely taxed for in game currency and ppl who seriously want a house can get one.
Again, this is just my opinion and a suggested action.![]()
The problem with rent fees is it doesn't harm the people who have enough money to have multiple houses/an entire ward and only hurts the people who only have one house.I agree!

If we are gonna start being upset about housing please start blaming the ONLY one directly responsible for it. SE!!!
Fault lays 100% on SEs hands.
From day 1 people warned what a horrid idea neighbourhood + non-instanced was, but to no avail. Here we are 8 yrs later and still majority of players will never ever hope to have home.
/FAIL SE
(People can use their homes however they see fit. whether they choose to use daily ,yearly, never...decorate, leave it bare...rent for occasions.)
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
However, you can make 50k+ gil at max level just doing your daily roulettes.
Maybe 100k gil a week?
I see how this would make housing endgame tho..
I still think rents would free up alot of spaces, remove the subscription requirement and keep the 'enter your house in x days thing.![]()
How about we stop punishing house owners making them jump through several levels of hoops?I agree!

Or we could free up housing for individuals that actually want it. Reducing the need for additional servers so SE could focus on more content? Either way, I'm just putting in my opinions on the housing stuff, rather than moaning.![]()
Sorry to bust your illusion but when personal housing started out it was easy to get one. I was even able to save up and upgrade to a bigger house without having to camp or search for it a lot later. And nobody at that time spoke about neighbourhood being a bad idea. The problem with housing availability came a lot later. If we are gonna start being upset about housing please start blaming the ONLY one directly responsible for it. SE!!!

Why would renting be a gil sink? There's not an issue with the average player having too much gil. If anything, the issue with gil is that a small number of people who are omnicrafters and run subs for gil have more than they could ever spend.
If they're allowed to make gil from renting those houses out it would only be worse.
Exactly, some people amass gil just for the fun of it never spending much. So in effect it is a gilsink to the game. Gil is like the highscore on a pinball machine or arcade box.Why would renting be a gil sink? There's not an issue with the average player having too much gil.
