But if not joking.
Using melds (adjust piety for mana), food buff, potions (we have 18% mana potion), and MO (mouseover) macros (I am a PC player) u can build a kinda fun game play around conjurer in normal duties, where u actually have to watch raid HP, use rescue, and actually focusing more on healing, instead of 11111111 glare spam.
Now, imagine doing that whilst being a WHM. More healing power, more damage, access to mitigation and other useful healing options.

Limiting yourself to Conjurer is not making your gameplay more exciting, swapping the occasional damage spell for a heal instead is not what I would call riveting. However, planning your oGCD usage around fight mechanics, using the tools given to you, is much more engaging. Granted, this is coming from someone who has healing as their least preferred role, however, I fail to see how limiting yourself is making you more engaged.

I would also question why you mentioned any other healer. Throwing around cards efficiently on AST, or having a different healing style in SCH/SGE is going to be a different experience. However, I suspect this is more to do with not being a team player is a team game than actually not finding a healer that you enjoy.
