Yeah I see a lot of Dynamis Travelers over here for purchasing market goods and getting their queues done in a timely manner. It's almost like most of the dynamis population just went there for an easy house but didn't actually care to play the game on that datacenter or something.

Still a relatively new server that came out a week ago?
I think people are used to blowing through new content in a week. Somehow that's supposed to translate into a population boom on new worlds that came up during a slow time of year.
Party finder in Dynamis is usually empty. Not “quiet”, not “a few parties”. Nothing. Zero parties.
If you’re correct, then we’ll see in a month’s time and I’ll come back to your post. However, that still does not remove the need for cross-DC parties. Once they eventually do add the feature—and they will—will you advocate for the feature to be removed, deeming it unnecessary?
It never is.30 Minutes Is Not Enough
Anyways, to touch on cross-data-center queues, it's not something you'd want. It ultimately destroys the sense of community you share with others on the same data center. Just allow time for Dynamis to fill with more players and the issue with long queues will resolve itself.
Late August was the original target date for the Dynamis launch, which would've put it right up against patch 6.2. Things would have started off much better if it happened at the start of a major patch. Here we are in November with the holidays approaching. I think as we get closer to 6.3 we'll start to see people coming back and maybe even shift over there.Party finder in Dynamis is usually empty. Not “quiet”, not “a few parties”. Nothing. So... is this implying that DC Travel is actually bad for a new DC in the long term? Kind of makes me look at Materia which is in the exact opposite position ATM. I read all the posts asking for cross-region so that it can flourish... but the reality is that aside from buying up the houses, there's not as much incentive to move away from a long-standing DC to a new one. This is really, really necessary at this point. It makes me wonder if DC travel is harming Dynamis more than it's helping with how things are currently.
I've done what I can to help activity on my DC, but I worry that the DC itself may simply become a hub for housing and other activities that can't be done off DC, while roulettes, duties in general and shopping is done while travelling to other DCs.
Mortal Fist
Naw, I think it's too much. Should only go up to 10 minutes. And in place of 10+ minutes it should just say, "try party finder" or maybe "are you sure?" or "nobody wants to do this"
Hard to compare us to Materia when Materia is the only Oceanic DC. Not to mention we're a NA DC, perhaps the group you'd expect the most from outside of the Japanese.So... is this implying that DC Travel is actually bad for a new DC in the long term? Materia is on its own and has issues with getting people to move over.
I guess this leads up to another question. Is the FFXIV userbase a bit stale? That would explain the difficulty in getting people to move over. People are tied down, set in their ways.
