I recently moved to Dynamis due to the housing crisis. Prior to joining Dynamis I would join Frontline daily for the EXP boost and to work on my PVP rewards. Previously only taking 5 to 10 minutes to join.

However, since moving I have been met hours of waiting and only once have successfully joined a FL. I understand Dynamis is a new DataCenter and it may be some time before players routinely join PVP. I'm also okay if players on the server do not want to play PVP or waiting 1-2 hours for a queue. What I'm not okay with is the 30m cap on wait time estimates:

30 minutes is not enough. Especially for newer data centers. I'm sure there are many players on Dynamis, and other data centers, that enjoy PVP or other content that isn't as popular. However, many players when faced with a "More than 30m" queue will not bother since there is no way to gauge if anyone else is even queuing with you.

Is there anyway for SE to increase the cap or, even better, provide an estimate of how many players are in queue - similar to other Daily Roulettes? Just having a way to know if others are in queue with you by either increasing the cap or providing a number of players in queue with you would significantly improve participation in less popular content.

Until the situation is resolved, I have no other option than to use Data Center Transfer to join a daily PVP roulette. A feature that was never intended for heavy use. I'm sure one day FFXIV will lose players as the game ages out. Why wait until then when it can benefit players now?
