And yeah, I'm aware people are happy. I'm also aware people are unhappy. I'm not really taking much of a side other than "okay, the solution people provided seems a little too simple for what it is". But only because I feel like mounts and such aren't the same as gearsets. They're novelty items, and while I don't think they should cost 99 off the bat (that's also pretty stupid, like wtf. I KNOW people who ran savage 99x for a mount), I also don't think 8 is a decent number for it. Maybe bump it up a bit, but not to the 90's.

Savage gear is a novelty in and of itself, just like the mounts.

With a bit more use though, no? I mean, ok sure, after a while it becomes glamour. Because that's how Vertical Progression works xD
But one helps you clear fights and all that. The other's just one more mount among the many we have. It's not the same, at least for as long as the content is viable.
