Count yourself lucky you get the CHANCE for a drop, those who aren't "1%ers" don't even get that!

As time progresses, it will become easy to "unsync" farm it.

That's probably exaggerating. Although there may be key mechanics you still have to do, a lot of it will become irrelevant quick in patches and with the echo. Raid-wides, dps checks and stacks just won't hurt anymore and phases will get skipped entirely.

E12S phase 1 is done after Junction Titan now. But unfortunately, we'll never be able to skip Basic Relativity on phase 2 since it's the hardest Relativity and the first one.

oh yeah, i was on monk last tier and it was terrifying to try to uptime greed that mechanic because we were just barely at the dps check for it, to the point where a couple GCDs of uptime determined whether we got the clear on schedule or not (probably moreso for my static mates than me, but)

I don't see the problem with making the mount obtainable with the book you get from the fight. If you're not in a static, you're not guaranteed the mount even if you put the work in, and if you're willing to trade the weapon from the books for the mount, then that's your choice.
