Me doubting their stories and being taken aback by how EW somehow resonated with them while being quite insulting to grief from my perspective, given what I’ve seen this of community isn’t the same thing as being “dehumanized” or viewed as lesser. I consider this behavior abnormal because this sort of stuff shouldn’t have been brought up by these posters in the first place. It’s disrespectful, and as I said earlier I have 0 tolerance for it.

I have ignored you up until that post. I generally disagree with your takes, but I don't see anything but yelling at a wall because there is no actual debate, and I leave you to your opinion because most of the time it's just that: a difference of opinion. You'll have yours, I'll have mine, whatever. That post was enough to make me break that for one giant reason: Making a sweeping generalization on PEOPLE YOU DO NOT ACTUALLY KNOW, on how things affect them or not, depending on their life circumstances and then playing victim over "everyone is just sooooo thinned skinned" is ridiculous. Because I like a game or story that YOU PERSONALLY DO NOT, I'm being seen as someone who is just "emotionally manipulating" people because I do and voiced my anger in what you said. I don't need to go into huge detail on seeing my father hours before he died to justify the fact that I lost someone to you, nor will I, and I only wish blocking you on the forums would actually make it to where I didn't have to see your disgusting word vomit, but alas, it doesn't.

I do not appreciate being told I'm "not normal" because I process grief DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU. People choose to bottle it up. People choose to be angry about it. People choose to do things that will lessen how they feel about it. People will choose comedy. People will do things that remind them of that person. But all ways lead to growing themselves around it to compartmentalize it to move on when they are ready. How that happens is not up for YOU, PERSONALLY, to decide for each person, nor is it up to YOU, PERSONALLY, to tell people they haven't experienced true loss because they enjoy a video game story you do not. If you're truly this unhappy with a game, stop paying the company money and quit. Take your business elsewhere. Come back if you feel it necessary to do so at a later time to see if anything has changed, but self-flagellating yourself by playing a game you dislike so much and then telling others they're "children" or not able to think for themselves because you're being the edgiest edgelord to ever edgelord for not liking it and they do is the most absurd thing in these threads you create, and then you go above and beyond to complain that things don't go the way you, personally, want them to.

If you're going to whine about how YOUR GRIEF is being insulted now by people rightfully telling you where you can place your generalization of us and how others process and deal with grief, then don't insult others' grief and grieving process to their faces. Handle your grief the way you can in your own mental capacity, and don't crap on my way because I'm not handling mine the way you do.

Tribal quests are not canon. They always do goofy stuff like that in their beast tribe/tribal quest stuff.

Is their any actual proof to that? Like some link to that being said by some dev? Only reasons I ask is due to that just being out of place as in game material. Not sure how the holiday events are taken to account when apparently only like 3 years have passed in game and theirs been like 6 christmas and rising events and also the fact if it is not canon the namazu race are screwed.

Anyway, I hope we get some kind of a conclusion to the Ra-La worshipers. It dawned on me that the bloodsworn reputation tribe quest is usually a prologue kind of a thing, so I don't know how in-depth we'll get into those Ra-La fellas.

While id like to see a conclusion for them i have a hard time thinking of how to do it since their end was pretty unique compared to the others.

Not that I'm aware of – it's the opposite, if anything. Side story events are referenced in the lorebook as having happened, so they form part of the "most canon" version of events.

On the other hand, while canon, the structure of the game means that those events can't easily be referred to in other quest lines, except maybe in passing, because the writers can't be sure that you've done the other quest yet. So, for example, the Omega Beyond the Rift quests won't easily be able to reference developments with the Omicron quests, unless they set completion of both storylines as a requirement for a follow-up linking them together.

But as you said before, it's because an ascian created their empire. Said ascian are now gone. So now it's the time for garlean to decide their own future. The game already did give us that, but again, it's too little.


It's going to be hard to rewrite and include all of these in canon EW considering the game has to crammed so many things. But in a hypothetical garlean expansion, or in the next expansions, I think this scenario would fit well enough.

On topic, I'm hoping the Nibirun come back for an allied quest... somehow. The only scene that we get of them is just contemplating the whole thing that Jammingway and the omicrons were trying to do and seeing the help the grebuloffs had gotten after they're introduced.

Imagine getting that big cool tree from their area in Dead Ends in Elysion... I'd love that. I know I was disappointed to see that it goes away after you beat the dungeon and it's not in bloom in explorer mode.

You may have your forum systems confused. This one doesn't seem to have PMs in any capacity, and ignoring people does hide their posts, although you'll still see them indirectly if somebody else quotes them.
