A game for 4 year olds

I have a feeling that the only satisfiying conclusion for some here would be closing the cafe and killing everyone on Ultima Thule because the races there still somehow yearn for conflict and fight each other to the death.

I mean Aveyond bascially says that he wants a shard be rejoined as a extra going on beside the main plot. As if that does not meant utter destruction on the source and genocide on the shard. Just like the destruction of each city state is interesting to him. Sure thats totally gonna be a awesome game to play, where most of the cities lie in ruin or have a war going on, with countless of NPCs dieing like nothing while we stand there in the mids of it.

I am thankful that we have other people writing this story.

And now we see them flip flop on genocide! Guess it's ok when done to the Ancients with no dynamis to revive them but the terminator bots and the Sundered with their 12k history of conflict? All ok!

This is why these people can't be taken seriously, and why it's clear that they haven't set foot outside FFXIV in ages. When this is the only game you play, that's the only reason for how incredibly close-minded they are when it comes to the direction the story could take and be more bold and compelling if only they'd stop clutching their comfort characters and bland city-states.

It'll never be so surprising to me how these people ate up "forge ahead" but yet act like they're incapable of doing so if something of permanent consequence happened in the story and to the world at large.

At this point, I am convinced. You're a 12 year old kid who thinks anything lighthearted is too "goofy" and want everything to be edgy cuz "cool." Nothing else can convince me otherwise.

Anyway, I haven't done the beast tribes, but my friends have (who also play stuff like Xenoblade, Guild Wars, Trails of the Sky, ect) and he said the story is perfectly fine and fits the themes they were going for. I am incline to believe him instead of people who want to find every excuse to hate on Endwalker.

You know that the Genocide part was written when I was talking about rejoining? You know the act that kills a whole planet with all its culture, people and other beings on it? The thing you want? While you lament about what happened to the Ancients?

I feel bad for the Ancients, if there had been a way to save them without destroying the present I would have choosen that way. (But shouldnt that be a too happy ending for some here? Since everything needs to be so grim dark?) But there was not. And since they are long gone and could only come back at the cost of the current living beings I say no to that. Sorry that some here dont like the thought of everyone being murdered for the chance of some other people coming back. Especially since there is a good chance that they would not succeed because they messed up the 13th.

It seems that its fine to genocide all these shards and all of the source to bring back people that has been death for 12k years. But dont you dare when you want to let beings live in their small place in the universe with no single cost to bringing them back. No Puppy was sacrificed to give us these adorable fish people.
