Am I misreading about the Gifting Feature?
We can still send those items via the moogle delivery service

If I only read that notice I'd be confused like you. But it actually turns out that they:
- removed the gifting code system
- implemented "Buy For Friend" feature only on multiple use items
and thus
- outright disabled gifting for unlockables like mounts, minions, emotes etc.

Which is ... annoying. They should just let people buy stuff, dupe or not. Or even better if they show if the recipient already unlocked certain things.
