    All those trailers tell me is that they are siphoning resources off 14 for 16, and boy does it show.
    ...aaand of course the idea that they can have separate teams never occurred to you?

    With all this expectation on there shoulders its easy to buckle under the pressure no matter how well your product is in the end.
    That comes down to trust, which they have as far as I am concerned.

    you will have 6 of the main people that worked on 14 working on 16

    Which could be a reason that Endwalker has largely been sub-par in multiple areas.

    The possibility exists that:

    They are focusing their attention on the new game and FFXIV isn't getting the attention it needs.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
