Who is Planning to Move to Dynamis?

It's something I'm considering, feel like it would be cool to help establish a new community/style on a server. It all depends on what the hype is looking like, how many people are considering jumping ship, etc.

I'll be moving on day one as I want to establish a FC as soon as possible, but I'm excited to see what it's like.

I'm headed to Seraph. I like all of the names but Seraph references enough FF aspects for me (and Scholar), so it's a good fit for me.

Definitely planning on moving but I'm surprised it's going live on Nov 1st. I thought that only the groundwork for the new servers was coming on Nov 1st and that they would actually be released next spring. Apparently not though, which is a good thing.

It's not a big deal for me to move really. I can find a new FC and for queues and other group content I can always hop back to Crystal.

I don't think the housing market there is going to be as easy as everyone seems to think though. There's definitely going to be a lot of people moving there for the same reason, and there's no doubt people out there sitting on their alt characters, flooding them with gil for the purpose of sending them over to claim as many houses as possible.

I'm personally prepping housing items I think will be in high-demand on the market, and while I'm just interested in getting a good house for my new FC, I know many players will be taking advantage of all of the new open plots. I am really surprised as well that it's happening so soon, I thought it would be Spring as well. My guess is that with it opening now, by Spring the populations will hopefully be at a healthier place for the upcoming patches.

Wouldn't be surprised if people made a bunch of housing items and shoved them onto their alts and sent those over too(or purchased them off their DC's MBs).

As they will be new servers, you will get a refund for your apartment. Empty it (and the store room) and leave it there, do not hand it back. As long as it's there when you transfer off you will get 500,000 for the apartment, and another 500,000 bonus gil.

(this by the way is an easy free 500,000 for anyone moving, if you don't have the apartment already, buy one, leave it empty, and transfer)

Serious question, but what's to stop people from making alts prior to the new servers, moving them to the servers for any bonus gil and then sending that gil to their other accounts?

I was considering transferring if one of the new servers had a cooler name than Hyperion, and they do not. Maybe in the next wave!

500k isn't worth the grind to lv 50+second lieutenant which is required to be able to buy an apartment
