If you are referring to what I think you are then this bugs me too. Also, there is an open area right next to us, but you're stopping in an enclosed space and these mobs have hard hitting AOE's or directionals that everyone is being smacked about by. Then they are surprised when the group wipes.

Another thing that bugs me are tanks who dont commit to their pull, they stop and start constantly, moving off again with a half damaged back of mobs. They do realise that a lot of DPS jobs have windows to use their bread and butter skills? Ive seen wipes happen because the tank couldnt commit to their pull and the DPS were down. Obviously thats only really a risk with packs who need to be taken down quickly, but still.

I'm mostly referencing a situation like below, where the brackets are the mobs - which some usually have cone AoEs - and the A is the tank.

That makes it so much more annoying, because with those larger mobs, they do tend to spread out more, and things like Fan Dance III which is targeted, tend to miss a large portion, especially if those mobs are still jostling around.

If the tank did the below, it makes things 100000% better for AoEs

Again i wasn't using any mobility skills, i wasn't running ahead, and it would have been no issue for the tank to be faster, all they had to do was use their skills.
I got initial aggro because i used my dot first which has some range, if you know how "pulling properly" works you would know that the enemy group will start moving towards you and move closer together when you get initial aggro, since i was next to the tank all they had to do was use their aoe which they didn't.

I also don't know why you are talking about "healing while pulling" because this wasn't the issue here, again i died the first time because the tank didn't take aggro from me after we finished pulling and i died the second time because the tank walked right past me when i decided to stand still, so they could grab aggro from me.

I'm a healer main when it comes to dungeon roulette, i know how to heal and how to behave, and this is the first time i encountered this behavior.
I gave them the benefit of doubt first, but that it happened twice was a bit much. Their accusation of me "not healing" was also a bit irritating. Not only was it not true, but how can you expect others to do their job when you don't do yours?

Not justifiying the tanks actions but this line ->"Reached the second group of enemies, healed myself a bit to stay alive, rest of the party arrived shortly after" gives the impression you were in front of the party. If you were with them the whole time then should have said that instead.

That Healer, could have waited the few seconds for that Tank, to grab aggro, then attack...

But yeah.

When it comes to pulling in dungeons. All anyone needs to remember is: The game does not care if a pull is accidental or intentional, being done for progression or harrassment. It is not capable of telling the difference.

The number of times I and/or my fellow tank have died to Living Dead during the WoL fight is silly. I usually only say things after a wipe since people like experiencing things blind and that's fine, but after blandly saying everyone needs to be healed to full for that, and still dying... that iddy biddy voice in the back of my mind is starting to think it's spite at this point. It gets more ridiculous when at least one healer is not new. REEEeeee.....

Tanks need a couple swipes at each pack to get proper aggro, especially if DPS are already starting to hit the first. Sprint timing is also a thing. If you're jumping ahead and not stopping or falling back, it's not the tank's problem. If you're a healer running ahead of me, I'm already thinking of my report for when you decide to abuse rescue.

I was joking around in uldah and we were talking about death is the best form of mitigation because it's a long lasting invul period that makes you immune to raidwides and tankbusters.
