Balance, yes. Boring, samey jobs, no.
I have yet to be be excluded in PF and if I do less damage because I happen to play a job that just doesn't I. Do. Not. Care.
The thing is your individual experience shouldn't define what others can or can't do. You do not care, fine but this is not about you. If you don't have a problem with it, why do you care wether or not the balance is adjusted so nobody has to deal with that issue ?
Balance affects me since job diversity gets eroded to the point where all feel the same. We need to accept that some outliers are just what happens since perfect balance is not achievable. Or do you want to see jobs being more homogenised to reach that? I don't. And yet the jobs I like to play are boring if the encounters don't provide it. Jobs themselves should already be fun. They are not in a lot of cases.
I think it is most definitely possible to balance jobs within 1% of each other without homogenizing them.Balance affects me since job diversity gets eroded to the point where all feel the same. You could have both balance and job/gameplay diversity. Why make them oppose each other lolBalance affects me since job diversity gets eroded to the point where all feel the same.
