They need to redesign cities to an extent. You can't tell me that this thing will take out the entire continent but the three cities will magically be unscathed.

I certainly hope they do, if they want the new inter-city aether transports to be useful. Currently, the cities are so small you can run to most locations faster than it takes to load in using the teleport.

I don't know about the impact thing, at least not in Eorzea. I only say that out of speculation because in the new revamped maps, clearly there are no impact craters of massive size, and anything relative to the size of Dalamud would leave a big crater.

I was looking at the concept art and map designs again
It seems they've only shown us 1 of the 3-5 zones of each region
the ones I know for sure are Central Coerthas, Northern Thanalan and Northern La Noscea

I still think it'd be funny if it crashed and wiped out Ishgard. All the people on forums haven been dying for the day ishgard opens its gates to us and the moment it does.... BOOM! Dalamud takes it out leaving a crater and a partially destroyed bridge/gate.

I doubt it's actually going hit the world. That would be too awesome for SE. It'll probably hovor & shoot lazers while sucking up energy.

However, if it did crash & hit the world, that would make for an awesome E3 footage. Then it shows the world 100 years later & we were all in stasis. Doubt it.

Nah, it just knocks down the bridge so we still can't get there. It will still be taunting us in the background.

Edit: watch the cinematic from Gridania storyline where it shows a glimpse of Dalamud. It shows it come nearby and shoot a bunch of smaller meteors out or something.

No worries. Shantotto will appear and blast the moon into a million pieces before it hits the planet, because she'll be damned before something, besides her, destroys any planet, regardless if it the one she resides on, is across the galaxy/universe, in another dimension...you get the idea.
