Yeah, I don't really see the problem with adding it in even as some sort of glamour for players. They could possibly refer to it as a "disguise" or something, for players, at least.A common misconception. The Warrior of Light is already the exception to a great many rules and Pureblood Garleans are not unable to manipulate aether altogether - it's simply exceedingly rare or requires workarounds such as making pacts with Voidsent.
That aside, when people ask for a Garlean third eye option they're typically doing so out of a desire to role-play. Role-players do not often portray their character as a 'Warrior of Light' but simply someone who happens to live within the game world. Be it a merchant, noble, bandit, mercenary or Garlean.
