Possible but sticking to the topic, they don't have the Garlean third eye(and they can't since only purebloods have that, which you would know if you remembered Arenvald's back story).

In this case she's the exception, rather than the rule, assuming she even is an exception.

Hers is never really discussed if I remember right. For all we know it could be a gem stuck up there or something else.

A customization option for the 3rd eye would make 1000x more sense then adding Garleans as a whole Race.

A common misconception. The Warrior of Light is already the exception to a great many rules and Pureblood Garleans are not unable to manipulate aether altogether

That's from one of the lore books, stating that the arcane arts have eluded all but a few - and as we know from the Reaper quests, a Pureblood Garlean can make a pact with Voidsent in order to wield aether.

Male Viera were also previously painted as being 'unseen' outside of their forests up until they were added to the game as of Endwalker. Au Ra weren't seen at all until the later portion of ARR with Yugiri's introduction. The same with Hrothgar before Shadowbringers.

Says who? I know that garleans can't manipulate aether, but again they never put attention to your character's race in the story. It would be a really fun addition for the roleplayers, as well as anyone else who wants to play a garlean character. And I can guarantee you that there's a lot of them.

Firmly agreed. I've met a lot of Garlean roleplayers over the years and it's been a pretty common desire in many circles that I've moved in.

Or the fact, y'know, the Garleans are heavily despised in Eorzea and there was a whole questline in the MSQ about Garlean refugees or the Lemures who are also discriminated against. Would also wreck the main story when aside from aether manipulation when if you're a pureblooded Garlean you don't need to stealth around strongholds or impersonate conscripts when you could waltz in as a member of their citizenry.

Wait, first of all the Lemures come from a side quest away from the main story, and second of all you're going to say that you could waltz into any imperial base as a full blooded Garlean, while also bringing up the Lemures who are garleans that abandoned the empire and came to Eorzea seeking refuge? I don't think they wouldn't keep track of their soldier's faces and names. All you have to do is look at the cutscene from the very beginning of the game with Nero killing a spy to figure that out.
