It doesn't matter. And Yoshi P also said Paladins cannot block magic. These things change. It could be Void Mage, Geo, Bananathrower whatever you want to call it.

He will change his mind when it suits his whimsy.

If they can put REAPER into the game anything is possible.

I do think literally raising the dead is a line they won't cross, but there's plenty of ways to get around making Necromancer without actually making Necromancer.
It could for example be something more like a Beastmaster that summons Ashkin creatures instead.
It's not high on my list of expectations but it's not impossible.
