Miqo'te and Lalafell. It does sometimes (always) feel like Miqo'te are the devs pet race (no punt intended). A variety of great animations, idle poses, gear that is custom designed for them, perfect proportions, can wear everything and still be unique when they want to be.
It would be nice to see Elezen get some love.

Eh recently they've been getting their ears removed a lot more, it feels like.It does sometimes (always) feel like Miqo'te are the devs pet race (no punt intended). Glamour without restrictions* is long overdue!
If you think so too, help keep the thread going!

Iscah, the concept art had them looking kinda demonic

somebody said neck
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Concept art is the absolute opposite of established lore, though. It's not even as reliable as "they were meant to be X and instead we got Y". It's just one of several potential designs they considered and rejected – and even on the same image as that demon-dragon art you can see faces that are much closer to the final result.
Maybe it was for the look of it, maybe it was practical issues with the implementation, maybe at the time they wanted to not veer too far into the realm of a playable race looking like beastmen. Whatever the reason, that concept was never part of the final design.

ITT: Yet another thread made by a cat/lizard/bunny girl asking for a race to be changed to better fit their waifu needs. Just play the other races and stop trying to make Elezen another Hyur + body part clone. No waifuication. Go away.
The only thing that I would like to see in 7.0 is better textures and some new faces, especially for FElezen. Fixing the twisting neck in cutscenes would be nice too. Just make it so the neck turns lower down and not directly under the chin.
People thirst over PCs too. I get far more harassing tells on my Elezens than any of my other characters.
I'd like to see face textures adjusted all-around. Femroe sea wolves you can see pinkish and pores and highlander females get black eye smudges.
I mean great if people want it. I don't.
Look, obviously biased here, but I think Elezen are fine. I think the race in general is a shout out to Amano (who really likes small heads and long necks btw) and people who make their Elezens look good make them look REAL good. I think they need a gfx quality revamp like everybody else and maybe more face options, but that's no different than anyone else.
Sometimes you're just not gonna like what you see, and that's fine. No need to dumb it down for everybody, it was an obvious design choice to make them be all stiff, prim, and proper. Just look at them when they are holding their weapons, they behave just like everybody else at that point. Work with what you have, it's dumb to advocate making them look the way you think they should. And I will say that about any race. If anything, maybe they should sculpt more options in terms of height and width so everyone isn't ~22 and absolutely beautiful all of the time, but they won't do that; no one would.

Seems like part of the perception over shoulder breadth may be due to an overwhelming number of miqote and female au ra players with expressly narrow shoulderlines - a better measurement would be to eye RL examples and variation. Not to say there isn't some light modification that could be done to improve that aspect, but some of the bizarre takes I've seen on some platforms (i.e. not here) have been basically that female elezen (it largely is female elezen that get it in the neck) are masculine.
Then again, we've had the misconception and belief doing the daily rounds that feol viera are shorter/viera need to have a short cute clan...and this is a race fairly well received with a well established history of being tall amazonian ladies.
