Once we're not getting any new races, wouldn't it be nice if Elezen's got an update?

I think the models and animations are fine. A few tweaks might be good, or more features, more faces, but overall it's fine that the races are different. The biggest problem with Elezen is how a lot of gear looks on them. The shoulder parts get stretched in a really ugly way.

It's the same problem with male Au Ra; if you wear any kind of outfit with long sleeves that are just slightly wide (or wide gloves) it looks so bad because it gets stretched awkwardly. While on Hrothgar for example sleeves look normal even though their arms are big as well.

So the way gear looks on models should be updated for all races.

Some issues like the necks breaking (it's not just this race, either) might be fixed just as part of the graphical update. Now, this could 100% be said about all of them, but I think what Elezen could use is more faces, especially given of the sheer number of Elezen NPCs in the game (an expansion's worth of them) taking away all the novelty of playing one, at least imo still made a female Elezen alt regardless

I feel like certain races in this game suffer more in terms of face options. Sorta like how male midlander has that one baby goo goo gaga face vs the other three. It's also similar in male elezen, and male miqo'te.
at least for me, it feels off. Like they don't fit, so definitely more options would be a welcome change.

Honestly, hoping they rework the character creator and/or add more features to it. Something closer to "walk style 1-2" and have it switch from their racial animation to maybe a standard universal animation.
Just feel like it would help a lot especially for all the races that have weird walk cycles, mostly looking at female midlander and their mall shopping spree walk lol

Elezen need a reduction in neck length, and Au Ra need to have their horns disconnected from face type. They should also be given some new scale patterns, as well as the claws and fangs their own lore says they have. ....And a muscle slider, given they (or at least Xaela) are supposed to be freakishly strong because of fighting 24/7.

I think all the races should get some upgrades. Personally, I wanted to be Au-Ra when they showed up. I have a serious issue with their run animation though; they look like they are running faster than they are and it messes with my head. I'll stick with my giraffe until either humans look less generic or that "I gotta pi$$" run is taken care of.

What lore says they should have claws and fangs? I have no recollection of this.

It does sometimes (always) feel like Miqo'te are the devs pet race (no punt intended). A variety of great animations, idle poses, gear that is custom designed for them, perfect proportions, can wear everything and still be unique when they want to be.

It would be nice to see Elezen get some love.
