Why quote me? I was saying that i can understand where the OP comes from, its not my thing, so gtfo. I don't know any warriors that even use berserk now, unless they hate their whm.

Because zerk is for DD warriors, I don't think you understand Warrior is meant for more than tanking, they straddle the fence as they can DD and tank both, so zerk when you have a PLD and Rampage when you're tanking, what is so hard about that?

EDIT: If you get hit with zerk up it resets. You aren't supposed to tank with zerk lmao. He is saying he wants -enmity so he doesn't take a hit so he can keep doing damage un-molested.

You want to have hate. You want monsters to be attacking you, as a War. Because if you don't have hate, monsters are attacking other classes/job , who shouldn't have hate, who can't deal with it like you can. You are God and you take care of the nasties.

So when would you use Berserk? When you're late to the fight, when you had a clumsy healer, with a brainfart, who let you die, when you need to regain hate on the monsters. And when you do get hate again, you go back to Rampage and reign down terror on your enemies, because you are God.

People keep saying "Warriors do so much damage" but for some reason their is some enormous mind block for people on making them a DD. Zerk was given to them by the dev team so they can DD or Tank when they so choose. When you're tanking Rampage, when you're solo Rampage, when you have a PLD in a party or another warrior who is tanking Zerk. This isn't rocket science, Warrior does more than enough damage to be a damage job with zerk on.

Find me areas where you aren't getting hit on warrior, either by adds, aoe, or environmental stuff (like in CC). I never see a reason to stress my whm curing my extra damage when 'zerk is being constantly reset anyway. A cost for no benefit = I never see a reason to use it unless you hate your whm. Didn't think I'd need to spell it out like that, my mistake for overestimating a certain someone.
