It seems to really not be very popular atm, I fight the same people every match and/or get people that seem way out of my range (top 20 crystal players or low golds instead of my actual rank) I think it’s pretty fun at times but…they didn’t even add new rewards to get more people trying out ranked :/ I only tried ranked this season bc I wanted the diamond title, i only did casual before. Now that I have it and have seen what the matchmaking is like in diamond rank and even plat I don’t know if I have motivation to continue lol

Servers are weird too, I’ve had recuperates go off too late, guard not go off, etc.

I think they need to add some more changes to make sure CC doesn’t die

Those aren't the servers, it's the netcode this game had since forever. It is just a lot more noticeable in pvp because it is faster and more reaction based than pve where you watch a boss stand there and cast it's "tick tock instant death"-mechanic for 5 seconds. And even in pve the server ticks occasionally get someone killed, despite your heal going out and the ability going on cooldown. The server has already registered them as dead and nothing you do can change it.

Not even 2012. As much as people seem to enjoy hating on WoW, that game came out in 2004 and it already had netcode that was more responsive back then.
