Nah, they don't need to do that. For one thing, it's probably going to come out worse than it did going in. For another thing, this PVP still has potential but they need to commit to tweaking the balance bit by bit with multiple patches, rather than trying a kneejerk reaction to a problem and slide from one extreme to another with a single patch and pretend it'll be alright until a major patch drops.

Just remove it. They can't handle it. It is beyond their skill set to implement in anything close to an acceptable level.
