while I agreed with a person's reasoning.
it has nothing to do with the way a MMO cost, price, and worth works.
Let alone the cost for the devs would mean the amount they pay their workers<most likely salaried> and then the cost to keep the lights on, and etc.
which doesn't work.
since the items and shop don't have any sort of limitations, or production per item.
this ain't Island Sanctuary. which would make sense on how it's supposed to work.
the cost for the dev is near zero much more<than light, is to its own speed> since they paid for it all beforehand.
it's the same pipeline of content. with a fork that splits specific items to the shop. or the main game.<and can be changed at anytime. hence why seasonal also gets added. or why items that should be game drops, get shoved into the shop, or R.A.F./Callback.>
for a company with a limitless item, the best option is to get many to adopt/buy the item. some took the price. but many more than that small minority will never due to the worth they know they'd gain.
many logical, and reasonable points.
but none of that applies to the conversation of the shop prices, and it's worth vs the cost.
If anything. SE is gimped/mained on how much they sell.
and the counterpoint to change boil down to subjectives.
[personally, I wish they had two options, a higher cost Accountwide, and a slightly lower cost single. but of course the change I'll get that is low, due to those against alts for all reasons, but that's irrelevant]
