Despite Urianger being such a learned individual he did not grate on people's patience as much as Y'shtola did, and I think we can do without a repeat of her in the form of Krile.

I do however support the addition of men of the burlier races, including Hrothgar, to the main cast. There was a highly offensive insinuation made by another poster that an Iron Bull sort of character wouldn't be "masculine" enough on account of their sexuality but that could not be further from the truth. So long as the character's behavior is not offputting in the same vein as G'raha Tia's is and they present themselves in an appropriate manner, I see no reason as to why such a request would be denied. From loud and roudy warriors like Iron Bull to more chivalrous types of personalities, it is not impossible for beauty to be found in the beast.
I agree. Masculinity doesn't always have to be ridiculous stereotypical viking men oozing testosterone and leaking mental capacity. That's for Warrior Mains (:P).

Iron Bull-type characters can and DO fit the game. The Draph from Granblue Fantasy, for example. And if you can't associate such physique to intelligence, then allow me to introduce you to the Draph most people think of, who is a detective.

Sure, narrative wise, he often fails at his Sherlock Scan ability, but it's a thing that's played for laughs. If you look at that aesthetic on a Draph and think it works for a detective, so too can it work for a Qunari and similar.

    As for chivalry...

...I mean, we have the Hrothgar right here. Have you seen their emotes? They're not all feral. And their lore is highly associated to Gunbreaker for a reason.

We do need better representation of male characters still appearing and acting masculine while being intelligent.
    Urianger is rather flamboyant.
    Alphinaud is jovial and androgynous.
    G'raha is an absolute bottom.
And while I don't condone people saying that those sorts of people aren't valid in real life, the inverse also bothers me: neglecting that traditionally-masculine traits are also valid and shouldn't be discouraged. If anything, constantly harping on that intelligence is for dainy, demure and curvy men and traditionally-masculine men are thugs and warriors is playing heavily into harmful stereotypes and further hurts both sides. It effeminizes the former and turns the latter to toxic masculinity.

Edit: I apologize for opening this can of worms. I just realize this thread is likely to be derailed by sexist and transphobic comments...
    >_>;; TLDR: Men can be smart too, why Krile of all people?
